Each project shows a different mode of how Veriton operates — lead developer, operator and co-investor, or builder. The same team runs all three. Detailed financial, partner, and outcome data is available under NDA to qualified prospects.
Verdant Close
Verdant Close is a 24-lot residential subdivision in Mt Maunganui. Veriton originated the deal — we identified the site, structured the development, and we're running it end to end as the lead developer. Planning, consent, civil works, and construction are all in-house. The project is bank-financed through a major New Zealand lender, with construction underway and delivery targeting late 2026.
What we did
We took the site from raw feasibility through to the construction now underway. Yield modelling and civil constraint analysis at the outset. Master plan and subdivision design through Tauranga City Council consent — including stormwater strategy, RFI resolution, and engineering producer statements. Civil works on site: earthworks, drainage, stormwater infrastructure, roading. Construction is now running across the first stages.
This whole sequence inside one team — that's the point of the operation.
A Waikato JV subdivision
In Hamilton, Veriton is operating partner and co-equity investor on a 4-lot residential subdivision in joint venture with a private investor group. We run the full project — planning, consent, civils, and build — alongside an equity stake in the deal. Construction is underway, targeting late 2026.
Why we structure deals this way
This is the model we use where capital partners want operational exposure but not operational responsibility. Veriton brings the development capability and a share of the equity; the partner brings the balance of capital. Both sides share the upside, which keeps incentives aligned for the duration of the project.
A 5-lot build, Pukekohe
In Pukekohe, south Auckland, Veriton is the construction partner on a 5-lot residential development. Planning and consent were handled by others; we were brought in to deliver the build under a fixed-price contract. Construction is underway, targeting late 2026.
Why this engagement matters
Veriton runs most projects end to end — but not every developer needs that. Some have their own planning and consent capability and want a builder they can trust to deliver the construction cleanly. Pukekohe shows we can step into a deal mid-stream, integrate with an existing team, and run a clean construction programme.
Three Hamilton subdivisions,
delivered 2023–2024.
Between 2023 and 2024, Veriton delivered three end-to-end residential subdivisions in Hamilton — planning, consenting, civils, and construction handled in-house. All completed, titled, and sold.
